How to respond to
a “Notification of Provisional Refusal”
issued by the JPO under the Madrid System
A holder can submit to the JPO a written opinion against a provisional refusal
through an intermediary of a representative domiciled in Japan by deadline.
(Patent Act Section 8)
The intermediary of a representative should be a Japanese Patent Attorney.
