Nine persons were arrested by suspicion selling fake "Polo Ralph Lauren"

Nine persons including a woman, the Representative Director of Internet Mail Order Company based in Shinjuku, Tokyo, were arrested by the Metropolitan Police Department.

The suspicion is to be holding imitations of sweatshirts which were branded by American popular maker, "Polo Ralph Lauren."

The arrested persons by suspicion against Trademark Law are nine men and women including Ayumi NUKAGA (29), the Representative Director of "Fearless", Internet Mail Order Company based in Shinjuku, Tokyo.

They are suspected to be holding two imitate sweatshirts of "Polo Ralf Lauren" on purpose to sell.

The Metropolitan Police Department said that the imitate sweatshirts had been sold at half price of the genuine on Internet Mail Order site, "Amazon.com."

The Metropolitan Police Department has found the 1,400 wear and shoes which are suspected as imitations of foreign brand products at their office.

The Metropolitan Police Department is appraising them.

It is first time for me to hear that imitations were sold by using "Amazon".

Since the goods put on market place are not judged, it is not wonder, I think.
