How to respond to
a “Notification of Provisional Refusal”
issued by the JPO under the Madrid System
The injunction results of the intellectual property infringement from January to March in 2014 were 7,600 import injunction cases and 244,969 import injunction goods.
In comparison with the corresponding period of last year, 6.3% increased as for the cases, 102.8% increased as for the goods.
1. The ranking of export country
The cases of export goods from China are 7,093 cases (component ratio 93.3%), ones from Hong Kong were 222 cases (2.9%), and ones from Korea were 86 cases (1.1%).
In comparison with the corresponding period of last year, China increased 6.7%, and Hong Kong decreased 15.6%, and Korea increased 53.6%.
2. The ranking of infringement goods
2,990 bags were the most infringement goods (component ratio 35.5%), and subsequently clothing were 1,559 goods (18.5%) , shoes were 1,042 goods (12.4%).
In comparison with the corresponding period of last year, bags decreased 28.2%, and clothing increased 58.4%, and shoes increased 32.6%.
There are much imitation products from China and Korea as ever.
