How to respond to
a “Notification of Provisional Refusal”
issued by the JPO under the Madrid System
Kyoto prefectural police arrested an unemployed man (36) living in Suita-shi, Osaka on suspicion of violating Trademark Act on October 29, 2014. He said, "I thought that they are real", and denied the suspicion.
The suspicion of arrest is to holding one wallet and four necklaces of fake "Chanel" on purpose of selling. Kyoto prefectural police has seized about 170 imitations such as wallets and gloves of "Chanel" or "Coach" from his house.
He is expected that he has sold them at the 10% of the market price on "Rakuten Auction". Kyoto prefectural police will search the purchase route.
