The Kanagawa prefectural police rearrested a male suspect (44), accessories dealership, in Gifu-shi for the Customs Act violation charges on 18th. He imported fake of American accessory
brand "Chrome Hertz" from Thailand and infringed trademark rights.
According to the prefectural police, it is considered that he made a profit of about 72 million yen in total after November, 2005. He said, “I could not stop selling. Because I could
get lots of money”, and recognized the suspect.
The Re-arrest suspect is that he sent 240 points including the ring which resembled Chrome Hertz to the home by international mail from Thailand and imported them in September and
October.
The male suspect was secondly arrested by selling fakes for the Trademarks Act violation in October.
The prefectural police is investigating that he wholesaled to the male suspect (37), the accessories dealership in Nichinan-shi, Miyazaki that was arrested for the sale purpose possession charge
of the fake on this month 17th.
