How to respond to
a “Notification of Provisional Refusal”
issued by the JPO under the Madrid System
Police Office arrested a business person (40) in Saitama. He had sold a fake branded bag through internet auction on suspicion of Trademark Act violation.
According the inspection of the police, he was suspected to sell a bag having a similar trademark to “Louis Vuitton” through internet auction last September.
A man that had sold it consulted to the police, “Is this an imitation?”
For the investigation, the suspect admitted the suspicion. The police is investigating the case in detail.
