RMT trader was arrested by suspicion of unauthorized use of similar logo “Dragoon quest”

Tochigi prefectural police arrested the president (41) of “atventure” on March 19, 2015. The suspicion is unauthorized use of similar logo of the trademark of popular game “Dragoon quest”.  He recognized it.

The police said that the company is a trading company of Real Money Trade (RMT).  It trades virtual money that is used on online game of the internet with cash.  It is suspected that it infringed the trademark right of a game soft company, “Square Enix Holdings” by using a similar logo to the trademark of popular game “Dragoon quest”.

The police said that it is first case that a RMT trader was arrested by suspicion of Trademark infringement.  On the website of the company, other similar logo type trademark is used.  The police is detecting other trademark infringements.
